Reviews and Ratings
The executive room was completely different from what I expected from the pictures online, making it more challenging. Despite that, the stay was marred by the noise of screaming and shouting throughout the night. The hotel's location near the university and city center was a plus, but disruptions in the corridors were a downside.
The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were poorly decorated with old carpet and not very clean, but they did provide tea/coffee and fruit. The location was ideal for accessing Clifton's facilities, but could be noisy at times. The dining experience was mostly good quality but a bit expensive. Overall, the stay offered good value for the price paid.
My stay at the hotel was an interesting mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were not big but comfortable, with a double bed squeezed in. Unfortunately, the noise from stag/hen parties outside was quite disruptive. The location, however, was excellent, within walking distance of the city center and great for exploring Clifton and Redland. The service was pleasant overall, but a billing mix-up on check-out caused chaos. Dining options were nice, and the staff did their best to accommodate requests.
The hotel has a good size, clean rooms equipped with tea/coffee and fruit, but they are next to the street and not well sound-proofed. The service was friendly, accommodating, and just really nice. The location is crowded and extremely noisy, lacking relaxation, but it has plenty of bars and restaurants. The dining experience was fine with hot, well-cooked food served promptly. The facilities are in need of refurbishment, being very tired.
The hotel is alright, but has some drawbacks. The rooms have a strong smell of fried food from the kitchen and are noisy due to stag do groups nearby. The odor of disinfectant and damp is also noticeable. On the positive side, the service is top-notch and very friendly.
